Making Small Art Work

When I line up a bunch of little papers, and make playful swoops, marks, and swaths of colour, it feels playful and complimentary. When I'grand staring at a big, bare piece of paper or a canvas, it can sometimes create force per unit area. – you invest a lot of time and materials into large works. For some of u.s.a., this pressure gets in the way of making anything at all. That's why I dearest making small-scale art piece of work.
I'one thousand excited to share a new serial of small art work. It's born out of one of the lessons in my new class, BIG Fine art. The idea behind the BIG ART class is simple: brand lots of little art pieces, and eventually gather them together into Large Fine art pieces. Working in batches of modest fine art pieces is inviting, playful, and helps you lot dig into your best art ideas.
These pieces are from my Big Fine art lesson: Images that Travel. Without giving away the play a joke on I teach in this department, I'll tell you a flake about what evolved for me. I was fascinated by all the different ways I could create swoops of white, teal, turquoise, and indigo on the squares. One of the things I invite students to exercise most is echo themselves.
